Goldstar Floor Collection

• A first level upgrade series of Glazed Porcelain Tiles, with a wide collection of texture and color.  Most tiles in this series range from a slight color variance to a wide color variance.

Porcelain Tile:

• Glazed porcelain tiles are somewhat harder and more wear and damage resistant than non-porcelain ceramic tiles, making them suitable for any application from light traffic to the heaviest residential and light commercial traffic. Just as the standard Decora Collection the glazed tiles are coated with a liquid glass, which is then baked into the surface of the clay.  The glaze provides an unlimited array of colors and designs as well as protects the tile from staining, and makes it easy to maintain.

The Advantages:

• Porcelain tile is highly resistant to stain, scratch, and moisture.
• Porcelain tile is a hard wearing material which is resistant to harsher cleaning agents, scratches, stains, fading, heavy loads and fire.
• It has a high breaking strength.  Porcelain contains less clay and more feldspar (a mineral). It’s also pressed at a higher pressure.
• Porcelain tile flooring can be easily maintained.  For this reason it is a practical choice for flooring in any room in the house as it needs no polishing, waxing, or sealing, and can be cleaned easily with a damp mop.
